San Francisco Education Fund – Pro-Bono Non-Profit Office Design
Role: Principal Designer | Team: Prestige Design Co.

This standout project was a pro-bono collaboration with the San Francisco Education Fund, a non-profit dedicated to improving public education across the city. Our student-led design team, Prestige Design Co., took on the challenge of reimagining their office space to better support collaboration, flexibility, and functionality.

After identifying the organization through independent research, we reached out and scheduled a preliminary meeting with Shelby, the Associate Manager, to understand the team’s vision, needs, and day-to-day operations. We conducted several site visits and worked closely with Shelby to gather feedback, take measurements, and refine the design concept.

In my role as Principal Designer, I led our team through the entire process—from initial research and communication to floor plan revisions, furniture selections, and presentation materials. We redesigned the layout to create more purposeful work zones, added new furniture solutions, and incorporated the practical and aesthetic considerations requested by the client.

The final design was presented to Shelby and her team, and we are proud that the project is slated for implementation in late 2025. This experience was especially meaningful as it combined real-world client interaction, team leadership, and the chance to use design as a tool for meaningful community impact.
