AGILITY Pilates Studio – Interdisciplinary Business Plan & Interior Design
This group project was developed as part of a Family and Consumer Sciences course, combining students from Interior Design, Nutrition, and Fashion to collaboratively create a wellness-focused business. Our team of eight developed AGILITY, a concept Pilates studio & Juice bar designed to promote physical health, mindful movement, and community.
As project leader, I was responsible for developing the overall business plan, assigning roles, and guiding the team through all phases of the project. This included leading concept development, coordinating team contributions, and ensuring we met all academic and creative goals.
In addition to my leadership role, I focused on the interior design and space planning for the studio—designing the floor plan, selecting materials, and shaping a layout that supports both function and aesthetic. The space was planned to reflect AGILITY’s brand: open, energizing, and purpose-driven, with areas for Pilates classes, a retail section, nutrition consulting, and community engagement.
This project not only sharpened my collaborative and organizational skills but also deepened my ability to align interior design with broader lifestyle and wellness concepts.
